Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 2 years’ experience in pediatric echocardiography
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA
  • RDCS-PE or RDCS-AE or RCS or RCCS

    • Skills & Responsibilities

  • Advanced knowledge of ultrasound physics, cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
  • Expertise in transthoracic echocardiography and ultrasound equipment operation, including digital reporting software.
  • Ability to participate in research studies.
  • Willingness to travel to multiple work locations.
  • Perform echocardiograms following lab standards and daily volume expectations. Respond promptly to emergent exams.
  • Adhere to department workflows for reporting, billing, and performance standards.
  • Provide excellent patient care in a safe, clean, quiet, and secure environment while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality.
  • Deliver age-appropriate care with courtesy to patients and families.
  • Participate in staff meetings, research, quality assurance, and working groups. Support institutional and departmental goals.
  • Assist in teaching students, fellows, and new technicians.
  • Comply with hospital and department policies, procedures, and cost-control measures.
  • Travel to satellite locations as required.
