We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) to join our diagnostic imaging team in Sutherland, NE . In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in performing a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide top-quality diagnostic care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established safety standards and regulations
- Operate nuclear imaging equipment such as gamma cameras and PET / CT scanners
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including cardiac, bone, thyroid, and renal imaging
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Educate patients on the procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the process
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare team members to deliver the best possible care to patients
Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology programCertification or certification-eligible through ARRT (N) and / or NMTCBBLS certification requiredStrong understanding of nuclear medicine protocols, radiopharmaceutical handling, and imaging proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrior experience in nuclear medicine is preferred, though new graduates are encouraged to applyWhat We Offer :
