About the Role

Are you passionate about marketing strategy, creative campaigns, and the excitement of sports and entertainment? The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Waterloo Bucks are looking for a driven and creative Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts and bring our brand to life.

This full-time, year-round role focuses on developing and executing marketing and advertising strategies for both teams. You'll coordinate our Social Media & Content, coordinate media buys, and manage all aspects of our promotional efforts-both traditional and digital. Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Advertising Strategy

• Develop and oversee annual marketing and advertising plans for both the Kernels and Bucks.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance with data and metrics to guide future strategy.
• Coordinate with the Social Media & Content Manager to align marketing efforts and boost engagement.
• Research industry trends to keep our strategies fresh and relevant.
• Manage relationships with media outlets and advertising representatives.
