Position Overview
The Project Manager plays a key role in the success of our projects by overseeing all phases of construction projects from preconstruction though closeout. Ensures project delivery on time, within budget, and in alignment with client expectations. This position requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a dedication to maintaining Bluewater’s high standards of quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Accomplish project objectives on time, meeting or exceeding the set project margin goal as well as meeting all specified quality standards.
- Responsible for continuously monitoring the progress of the project with respect to financials and schedules.
- Meet and provide a bi-weekly status report for the Project Executive.
- Present monthly status reports for the Executive and Accounting teams.
- Lead and communicate with all team members, subcontractors and vendors to assist them in working to maintain the project schedule.
- Develop and improve assigned client relationships.
- Build effective working relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, vendors and Bluewater team members.
- Administer financial aspects of the Owner contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- [3–10] + years of relevant construction experience, depending on position.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office).
