Job descriptionPatient Demographics : Adults and general hospital population Patient Volume / Census : TBD, based on radiology department workload Phone Consults : Yes, as needed for clinical correlation Case Mix : General diagnostic radiology Procedures : Standard diagnostic interpretations Trauma Level : Non-trauma facility Specialty Backup Available : Full radiology department collaboration Support Staff Available : Technologists, department staff Reason for Coverage : Backfill FTEs as MUSC transitions radiology in-house Hospital Privileges Required : Yes Temporary Privileges Available : TBD Credentialing Timeline : Standard; SC license required (can consider non-licensed with FCVS verification) Compliance Cross-Credentialing : Required for additional sites (Black River, Marion) Rate : TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Diagnostic radiology readings and interpretations Licenses : Active South Carolina license preferred; consideration for non-licensed candidates with FCVS verification Board : Board Eligible within 5 years Fellowship : Required Degree : MD or DO Experience : Diagnostic radiology Perform diagnostic radiology interpretations for inpatient and outpatient studies Support clinical teams with imaging consultation Participate in cross-site coverage including Black River and Marion locations Collaborate with radiology team and hospital staff to ensure timely and accurate results
