The Role :
This is a growth role aimed at expanding business within the Allentown, PA market. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new business into the location and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience in building materials, although candidates with a strong sales background may also be considered. As an Outside Contractor Sales Representative, you will be part of a team of 15-20 employees at the location. Your primary responsibilities will include prospecting and generating leads, conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and providing exceptional customer service. Effective communication and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role. Travel to customer locations will be required, and the maximum commute length should not exceed 30-40 minutes into the territory.
The compensation package for this position includes a competitive base salary upwards of $60K+, complemented by a tiered commission on gross profit dollars and an annual bonus based on hitting gross profit goals. Total compensation for the first year is expected to be around $100K-120K+ all-in. Mileage reimbursement will be provided, with specific caps to be determined.
