The Industrial Painter performs duties necessary to maintain equipment in good repair, such as bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions and doors. Work area may include cleanrooms, garages, offices, restrooms, and mechanical rooms.

Basic Qualifications :
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
- No experience required; on the job training provided
Preferred Qualifications :
One (1) year of similar work experience preferredResponsibilities :
Use a wide array of painting tools, including thin and thick brushes, airbrushes, and rollers to apply paint coatings ranging from latex, oil based, acrylic, and epoxy floor coveringsPaint large products in client facilitiesClean surfaces prior to layering paintMaintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that it is in working orderSafely disposing of chemical wasteEnsure that high safety standards are metUtilize different painting techniques based on the nature of the surfaceUtilize special safety equipment such as painting gogglesUse viscosity cups and thickness gauges to measure the amount of paint to be used and the texture of the paintIdentify surface peculiarities and determine the types of paint required for different applicationsRemove previous paint surfaces using masking or a chemical rinsePaint small items and doing touch-upsEnsure proper ventilation after the paint is appliedUtilize electroplating equipment to coat metalPolish metallic surfacesPaint over wood and plasticA good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
