Summary : The Project Engineer is the technical leader for one or more of Ingersoll's projects. The Project Engineer collaborates with the Project Managers and the Design Engineering Manager to get projects designed and released in scope. The project engineer has three main goals :
- Deliver projects within time and budget
- Comply with Ingersoll quality standards and ISO metrics.
- Generate high (internal and external) Customers satisfaction
Responsibilities :
Work with the Design Engineering Manager and Project Management to develop the schedule for engineering releases and manage accordinglyCoordinates with Project Management to keep the build specifications updatedIdentify and help clarify any grey area in the build specificationIdentify and report erroneous values or data in the build specs to P.M. and supervisorIdentify and report to supervisor risks or lack of resourcesProvide technical leadership for the Engineering staff assigned to the projectLead all design reviewsCoordinate with purchasing to select vendors for long-critical lead, high-cost components, and subsystemsFollow vendors to make sure they respect the technical scope requested by IngersollDevelop PAT / FAT books for our and procured equipmentWork with the Design Engineering Manager to approve any technical deviation from the original scope defined in Ingersoll specification : dimensions, tolerance, material, etc.Support the floor during assemblyBe the technical reference point for Project Managers and answer technical questions from customersBe a technical referent for salesCoordinate with Project Management any risk analysis requested by the customer and make sure that the machine complies with the norms of the destinationQualifications & Experience :
