Psychological Operations Specialist

Requirements

U.S. Citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card

Aged between 17 to 34 years

High School Diploma or GED required

Eligible for a Top Secret Security Clearance

Must meet Tattoo Guidelines

No Major Law Violations

No Medical Concerns

Training & Certifications

Access to 53 nationally recognized certifications available

20 weeks of comprehensive One Station Unit Training

10-day Psychological Operations Specialist Assessment & Selection Program, following Airborne School and Qualification Course (active duty only)

Achieve a score of 85 or above on the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB) (active duty only)

Solders on active duty or Army Reserve will undergo 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and either 10 weeks of Advanced Individual Training or 16-22 weeks of One Station Unit Training

Active Duty only : Airborne School

5 weeks of Psychological Operations Preparation & Conditioning Course

10-day Assessment & Selection specific to Psychological Operations

10-week Psychological Operations Qualification Course

10-week Special Warfare Psychological Operations Course

16-22 weeks of Basic Special Operations Language Training

Score 75 or above on the Defense Language Aptitude Battery (DLAB)

Army Reserve personnel may attend Airborne or Language training if required by their unit

A minimum score of 105 on the ASVAB General Technical (GT) section
