Position Summary

The Design Engineer is responsible for designing and developing a wide range of structural and agricultural products to meet specific customer requirements. This role requires proficiency in 3D design software and the ability to produce accurate drawings and models efficiently. The ideal candidate will manage complex projects, conduct research, and develop innovative methods and materials to improve operational efficiency. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to recommend and implement effective solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Participate in project meetings and calls to understand customer needs and specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers to complete projects and produce detailed technical drawings.
• Create building blueprints, layouts, and construction details using CAD software.
• Develop new components and products through 3D modeling, including part and assembly drawings for manufacturing.
• Apply established processes and templates for new parts and assemblies.
• Review engineering drawings and designs to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Provide creative, cost-effective design solutions to meet customer and production needs.
• Collaborate with internal and external manufacturing teams to refine and improve design details.
• Audit and update existing designs and templates for accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
• Understand and work toward achieving departmental performance metrics.
