Materials Handler

As a Materials Handler, you will have the opportunity to work in a climate-controlled and clean environment, primarily around the cleanroom. The standard shift is from 8am to 5pm, with additional overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Remove shipped materials from delivery vehicles.
• Examine receiving documents for storage destination.
• Pull stored materials for orders and move to production or shipping areas.
• Document information related to receipt, storage, or distribution.
• Use computer systems to locate materials.
• Work under direct supervision.

Work Environment

You will be part of a team of five people in the Material Handling group, working within a warehouse. The environment is air-conditioned, and the dress code is casual, although occasionally you will need to dress for the air lock room with gloves, shoe covers, and hair nets. There are two current openings on the 1st Shift, which runs from 8am to 5pm, with overtime as necessary. The 2nd shift runs from 2 : 30pm to 11pm, with overtime as necessary. Some Saturdays and additional hours may be required, with most overtime being voluntary.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.87 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
