Kalshi is the first and only federally regulated exchange where people can trade on any event. Think like the NYSE, but instead of trading stocks, you trade on the events you know and care about. After three years of regulatory struggle, Kalshi's historic regulatory approval from the CFTC has allowed it to launch a new asset class : event contracts. Event contracts, the fastest-growing asset class today, are elegant financial instruments structured as simple yes / no questions about the future.

In 2024, Kalshi Klear was approved as a Derivatives Clearing Organization (DCO) and now manages all clearing activity for its exchange members.

We are looking for passionate and outlier members excited to embark on this voyage toward building the financial system's next inflection point.

Role Roadmap

In the Financial Operations role, you will be an early member of Kalshi's Finance team. We cater to retail customers, market makers and hedge funds, and institutional traders. The Financial Operations team is responsible for ensuring the money flowing in and out of the Exchange, the Clearing Org and its connected systems is all accounted for.

NYC Pay Transparency Disclosure :

Salary Range : $80,000 to $160,000 annually plus equity and benefits. This salary range is based on the current available market data, and represents the expected salary range for this role. Kalshi has minimal hierarchy and few titles, but has broad ranges of experience represented within roles.
