$105,000.00 / yr - $115,000.00 / yr

Extol, Inc. is looking for a dynamic Mechanical Design Engineer ! This position is responsible for producing quality designs for custom equipment and tools while ensuring a great customer and team experience. Strong candidates will possess experience with designing custom equipment, strong technical communication skills, and mechanical aptitude.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Creates high-quality designs based on outlined customer concepts.
  • Provides leadership and guidance within the scope of the design project to cross-functional teams.
  • Works independently on designs while being able to collaborate with different stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates the ability to learn Extol products and custom technologies to promote and produce elite custom automation equipment for the plastic manufacturing industry.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (BSME or related)
  • Experience with SolidWorks (with Simulation a plus)
  • Awareness of controls – visions, sensors, pneumatics
  • Eagerness to collaborate and be team oriented
  • Strong ability to communicate and solve problems effectively
