About The Position

  • Position Description
  • Samaritan Hospital and St. Peter’s Health Partners are seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to join their team in Albany, NY. This is a full-time locum role starting December 2025 (or earlier once credentialed).
  • Hospital-based practice, covering 8 ORs
  • Mix of own cases and CRNA supervision ( ratio 1 : 3 / 4)
  • Case mix includes : Orthopedics, Urology, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy
  • Patient demographic : Primarily adults & geriatrics (pediatrics limited to dental / eye cases)
  • EMR : Epic
  • Required procedures : Spinal, Epidural, and Regional Anesthesia

Job Requirements

  • Requirements
  • Board Certified in Anesthesiology – REQUIRED
  • Active New York State License – REQUIRED
  • Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications – REQUIRED
  • Clean malpractice and credentialing history preferred
