Job Title : Software Architect – AWS (Remote, EST / CST )

Location : Remote (Preference for candidates based in Pittsburgh or within EST / CST time zones)

Work Authorization : U.S. or Green Card Holders only

Compensation : Competitive, based on experience

About the Role :

CEI’s Tech Solutions division is seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern, cloud-first software solutions. You’ll partner closely with clients and internal teams to architect and guide the development of web, mobile, and integration applications using AWS technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

Architect, design, and deliver scalable, cloud- solutions in AWS.

Lead and mentor development teams through full project lifecycles.

Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and craft tailored technical solutions.

Ensure solutions align with AWS Well-Architected and Cloud Adoption Frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience :

AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or higher).

Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS / Fargate, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, etc.).

Strong background in software development with Node.js, Java, Python, or .NET.

Proficiency with DevOps tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, GitHub Actions).

Experience with API design, containerization (Docker / Kubernetes), and Agile delivery.
