Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Ultrasound Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Position : Sonographer Department : Ultrasound Tech Location : Albany, GA 31701 Start Date : November 24, 2025 Contract Length : 17 weeks Shift : Nights (Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Setting : Acute Care Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sonographer to support ultrasound services in an acute care setting. The Sonographer will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including general, vascular, and OB / GYN exams, while maintaining patient comfort and safety. This role requires strong technical skills, clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently during night shifts. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in accordance with departmental protocols Ensure accurate patient positioning and image acquisition Collaborate with Radiologists and medical staff to support diagnostic interpretation Maintain accurate documentation and records in the EMR system Provide safe, compassionate patient care and maintain professional communication Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of ultrasound equipment Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Sonographer experience in an acute care setting ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) certification required Current BLS certification (AHA) Proficiency in General, Vascular, and OB / GYN ultrasound Strong communication and patient-care skills Application Process : Please submit your resume to ashutosh.kumar@medcadre.com or Call 949-620-6188.
