Description :

The Behavioral Healthcare Provider develops, coordinates, implements, and provides interdisciplinary services related to behavioral and biomedical sciences.

They perform psychosocial interventions with clients within their scope of practice.

This includes individual, family, or group intervention such as counseling and education.

The provider develops intervention goals and objectives to address and resolve client issues.

They participate in establishing, implementing, and evaluating treatment system goals.

Interviewing clients and their families is essential to establish case goals.

The provider assesses clients and determines intervention techniques while monitoring responses to treatment.

They provide feedback on the effectiveness of prescribed treatment plans.

Evaluating the progress of lower-level behavioral healthcare cases is part of their responsibilities.

The provider maintains required documentation to meet regulatory requirements.

They prepare necessary data, including social histories and court documents.

Participation in treatment teams and program development teams is expected.

The provider attends training meetings and relevant hearings.

Establishing and maintaining working relationships with other agencies for referrals and follow-up services is crucial.
