Job Title : Team Leader, Therapist

Hours per Shift : 10.5
Experience : Minimum of two (2) years of experience treating adults with mental health and / or substance use disorders.
License : Must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling with the corresponding state licensure.
Certifications : Eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional certification at the time of hire. Must obtain a Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist credential within 120 days of hire. Must possess a CAADC credential, or be on an active approved registered certification development plan within six weeks of hire.
Must-Have :
Must possess and retain a Chauffeurs license.
Must have exceptional clinical assessment, client engagement, and intervention skills.
Must demonstrate competency in working collaboratively with clients, family members, and community partners.
Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Must have excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Must have the ability to effectively manage crisis situations.
Must have a nonjudgmental approach that reflects cultural competency and sensitivity to the unique needs of adults with mental illness and / or co-occurring substance use disorders and their families.
Description :
As a Team Leader in the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psycho-social assessment, treatment planning, therapy, community-based support, and advocacy to adults with serious mental illness and their families.
You will work in collaboration with the team and other community providers to facilitate the efficient and effective operation of the program.
You will assist with the orientation training of team members and co-facilitate team meetings.
The Team Leader will provide crisis intervention, on-call crisis coverage, and clinical consultation as needed.
Travel will be required, with mileage reimbursement when using a personal vehicle.
Any training provided by the organization will be compensated.
