We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintaining and repairing various types of equipment, including heavy machinery and diesel engines. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of a team to ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.

• Duties
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on pickups, trailers, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and farm machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Conduct welding tasks as needed to repair or fabricate parts.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used.
• Operate various types of equipment, including tractor-trailers, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
• Collaborate with other service technicians to complete complex repairs and projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on all equipment.
• Experience
• Proven experience in mechanic roles with a focus on diesel engine repair and heavy equipment operation.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance practices is preferred.
• Ability to suspend and transmit mechanical knowledge effectively within the team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing issues.
• Certification or relevant training in mechanical repair is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours : 40 – 50 per week
