Travel Surgical Technologist - $2,360 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Surgical Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 5 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job Title : Surgical Technologist - CVOR (Open-Heart) Position Summary : The Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting in cardiac (open-heart) surgical procedures and supporting the operating team to ensure a safe, sterile, and efficient surgical environment. When CVOR case volume is low, the technologist will float to assist in general surgery. Requirements : Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program BLS certification required Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred, but not required Minimum of 2 years of current or recent open-heart surgery experience required Strong critical thinking skills and solid knowledge of central processing and instrumentation Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary surgical team Schedule & Call : Full-time (40 hours / week) Option of four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts Typical schedule : 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM Call Requirements : Minimum 2-3 days of call per week (varies with staffing) Weekend call : Friday end-of-shift through Monday 7 : 00 AM Holiday call rotation may be required based on schedule Key Responsibilities : Prepare and maintain the sterile field for cardiovascular surgical procedures Ensure proper care, handling, and availability of surgical instruments and equipment Anticipate the needs of surgeons and other team members during procedures Adhere to strict aseptic techniques and infection control standards Support general surgery cases as assigned About Talent4Health A leader and innovator, offering comprehensive talent solutions for the healthcare industry across the nation.
