Job descriptionConduct physical exams and preventative screenings Evaluate diagnostic tests and formulate care plans Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams Manage care plans for follow-up and ongoing treatment Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic procedures Coordinate referrals to specialists and resources Respond to staff inquiries and perform CPR as needed Demonstrate leadership, communication, and sound judgment Provide general patient education on wellness and health maintenance Participate in selected committees as appointed Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program National certification (AANP or ANCC) Active or eligible Michigan NP license ACLS and PALS certification (or ability to obtain) Clean practice history and insurability for liability coverage Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Two years of experience as an NP or recent graduate Valid CPR certification (Red Cross or AHA accepted) Experience in academic or teaching hospital settings AA / EO employer .
