Job Summary

Summary : WE ARE SEEKING SKILLED AND MOTIVATED HOT FOOD PREP COOKS TO JOIN OUR CULINARY TEAM IN PROVIDING HIGH-QUALITY FOOD SERVICE DURING UTAH JAZZ & UTAH MAMMOTH GAME DAYS AND OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS. THE HOT PREP COOK WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PREPARING HOT FOOD ITEMS ACCORDING TO ESTABLISHED RECIPES AND STANDARDS, ENSURING TIMELY AND COSISTENT SERVICE. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS DETAIL-ORIENTED, EFFICIENT, AND PASSIONATE ABOUT DELIVERING EXCELLENT FOOD QUALITY IN A FAST-PACED SPORTS ENVIRONMENT. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Prepare hot menu items such as grilled items, burgers, sandwiches, entrees, and other cooked foods accoring to recipe specifications.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards at all times.
• Assist in food station setup and breakdown before and after events.
• Ensure all food is cooked to proper temperatures and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and cooking equipment.
• Support inventory managment by notifying supervisors of low stock levels.
• Adhere to portion control guidelines and presentation standards.
• Respond quickly to the needs of the kitchen and service staff during high-volume periods.
• Maintain a safe working environment and follow safety protocols.
