Power-Flo Technologies Somerville is looking for an HVAC Inside Sales Associate to join the team.
This role is Monday to Friday. Full Time. On-site / In Office.
$19 - $26 / hour ( Hourly rate commensurate with HVAC sales experience)

HVAC Inside Sales Associate Responsibilities and Duties
Support customers, outside sales, internal operations, and suppliers in all aspects of the pre-sale and post-sale processesPrepare quotations – based on customer needs, or direction of outside sales, including price and availability; typically involving utilization of back-office business systems and supplier websitesManage bid requests from contractors and provide accurate and complete quotations; distribute to all interested partiesQuotation follow-up via phone and e-mailCommunicate with suppliers to secure special pricing, terms, etc. as neededOrder entry, acknowledgment, purchasing, tracking, and expeditingCommunicate with all parties as needed to achieve the highest level of customer satisfactionSetup new accounts including coordination of credit applicationsPerform general clerical duties to include but not limited to, ongoing maintenance of hard copy and electronic filing systemsOther sales / admin related duties as assigned from time to timeHVAC Inside Sales Associate Qualifications and Skills
Knowledge of HVAC products or HVAC background (technical training or experience)Familiarity with commercial electric heating products; duct heaters, wall heaters, baseboard, thermostats, electrical fan coil heaters, electric and hot water / steam air curtains, electric heat trace and controls
Ability to read and understand mechanical specifications, drawings and schedules, some electrical symbolsAbility to quote motor controllers, variable frequency drives, mechanical disconnect / safety switchesBasic math and computer skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookAble to become proficient with proprietary internal business systemsHigh school degree, GED, or equivalent training (military) or work experience, preferredStrong communication skills both writing and verbalEffective time management, organization, and multi-tasking skillsTeam player who works well under pressureProfessionalism and business acumen to portray the company in a positive mannerClean and valid driver's license to travel to other branches as neededPhysical Requirements for Desk Jobs (with or without reasonable accommodations)
