    Freedom Chevrolet is a women-owned dealership looking to add a certified General Motors Service Technician to our team. Candidates should have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance in a franchise dealership setting, with a focus on General Motors vehicles, will have proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various automotive systems, ensuring that all vehicles are in optimal working condition. General Motors Service Technicians work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality service to our customers.

    • Responsibilities
    • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on General Motors vehicles and other makes as needed.
    • Diagnose automotive electrical systems and troubleshoot issues effectively.
    • Utilize hand tools and power tools to execute repairs and maintenance tasks.
    • Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical problems and recommend solutions.
    • Align wheels, maintain suspension systems, and perform brake repairs.
    • Repair diesel engines, ensuring compliance with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
    • Maintain accurate records of all services performed and parts used.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
    • Follow all General Motors and Freedom Chevrolet safety protocols and guidelines.
    • Skills
    • 3+ years prior General Motors training and technician experience.
    • 3+ years automotive franchise dealership service experience.
    • Proficient in working with GM vehicles, including knowledge of specific systems and components.
    • Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems and their functions.
    • Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
    • Background in automotive diagnostics, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
    • Familiarity with dealership operations.
    • Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
    • Job Type : Full-time

      Pay : $30.00 - $60.00 per hour
