Summary of Essential Job Functions
Must have Coronal Polishing certification or be working to obtain it by 11 / 03 / 2025.Assist office managers in supporting and supervising back-office employeesWork chair-side with dentists, perform patient care, and general laboratory dutiesTake and process dental radiographs (x-rays)Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipmentTake impressions of the patient's teeth (models), extractions, composite fillings, etc...Teach patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health (e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)Ask about the patient's medical history and take blood pressure and pulseHelp patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatmentProvide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment proceduresAt a Glance
Certifications Required : CDA or RDA, X-Ray, must have Coronal Polishing certification or be working to obtain it by 11 / 03 / 2025.Additional Certifications Required : EFDA course completion (as mandated per state requirements)Experience : 1+ year in a dental officeJob Type : Full-timeCompensation and Schedule
