POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for accurately processing members' transactions while promoting the credit union's products and services. Tellers play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with Del One members by engaging members in conversation, building strong relationships, and educate members about Del One products and services. This position answers questions regarding member accounts and has knowledge of the Credit Union's products and services. Applies the knowledge to assist members as well as adhere to policies and procedures. Handles every transaction promptly and professionally assuring repeat business. As the first point of contact, tellers must offer quality member service encouraging members to choose Del-One as their primary financial institution.
Requirements

Assumes responsibility for the efficient, effective, and accurate performance of Teller functions.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective, professional business relations with members.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with branch personnel and with management.
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION : High school graduate or equivalent
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE :
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED : 1-3 years related experience
SKILLS / ABILITIES :
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIRMENTS
TALKING : Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly
AVERAGE HEARING : Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information
FINGER DEXTERITY : Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together
REPETITIVE MOTION : Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and / or fingers
AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES : Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery
PHYSICAL STRENGTH : Medium work; exerting up to 50 lbs. occasionally, and / or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and 10 lbs. constantly
