Overview
Base pay range
$90,000.00 / yr - $130,000.00 / yr
This company has two openings for mid / senior level controls engineers. One opportunity on the general industrial automation team, and one opening on the automotive automation team.
Responsibilities
- Design control architectures, including selection and integration of sensors, actuators, PLCs, and other hardware components.
- Develop and implement control algorithms to achieve desired system performance, accuracy, and reliability.
- Programming and Implementation
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices to execute desired control strategies.
- Develop and implement software for automated control, data acquisition, and real-time monitoring.
- Troubleshoot and debug control software to ensure smooth system operation.
- Integration and Testing
- Integrate control systems with mechanical components, electrical systems, and software applications.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field is preferred.4+ years of experience in controls engineering, automation, or a related field.Proficiency in PLC programming languages (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and HMI / SCADA systems.Strong understanding of control system theories, algorithms, and principles.Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Ethernet / IP).Familiarity with hardware components such as sensors, actuators, motor drives, and industrial robots.Ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues and implement effective solutions.Seniorities
