Highway Design Engineer - (L-2021-18)

Responsibilities :

• Prepare plans, specifications, estimates, schedules, design exception reports, and other studies for roadway improvement projects.
• Perform design of highways and roadways including horizontal and vertical alignments, roadside safety features, grading, ROW limits, and earthwork.
• Prepare design sketches and drawings using CADD.
• Cooperate and coordinate with other design team members.
• Supervise and check work of less experienced engineers.
• Visit project sites to investigate conditions.
• Review contractor submittals such as working drawings and RFIs.
