Position Overview :

Behavioral Assistants (BAs) provide in-home and community-based support services to youth with behavioral and emotional challenges, reinforcing clinical goals and promoting positive skill-building. BAs work under the supervision of licensed clinicians and play a key role in empowering youth and families toward long-term success.

Minimum Qualifications (per N.J.A.C. 10 : 77) :

High School Diploma or GED

At least 21 years old

Minimum 1 year of relevant experience  in a comparable setting, including :

Direct care in residential or outpatient behavioral health settings

Work with youth / families in community-based social service agencies

Experience with youth in school-based programs
