Regulatory Analyst

About the position : The Regulatory Analyst is responsible for conducting research and studies in support of rate designs, cost of service, pricing and tariff filings. This position will also assist in the development of solutions to complex issues facing the electric and natural gas utility industry (Distributed Generation, Renewables, Energy Efficiency, Net Metering, etc.). Key responsibilities include :
Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, or related field from an accredited college or university required. Master's Degree or active commitment to obtaining a Master's Degree preferred. One or more years experience in analyzing complex data required. Master's Degree may be considered in lieu of experience. Experience involving the application of utility tariffs and policies preferred. An understanding of electric and gas utility delivery systems preferred. Knowledge of ratemaking principles and cost-causation preferred. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Advanced skills using spreadsheet and database software applications required.
Compensation Range : $69,300.00 - $168,000.00
This pay range encompasses multiple levels of the role. Career level and compensation depends upon applicant's credentials. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
