A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative (Home Based).
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service and greet patients while verifying their demographics
Coordinate and schedule appointments with nursing teams and providers, including managing referrals and pre-authorizations
Handle patient financial responsibilities, including collecting payments and assisting with financial assistance initiatives
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; post-secondary education is helpful
One year of work experience, preferably in a medical office setting
Medical terminology knowledge is helpful; customer service skills are essential
Six months of customer service experience desired
BLS certification may be required for certain locations and / or settings
