Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Medical Overflow Unit position in Alaska requiring an active AK RN license and oncology certification for oncology assignments.

Responsibilities

Work in the Medical Overflow Unit within a hospital setting

Day shift schedule from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM

Unit may care for medical-surgical and overflow oncology patients

Provide care for both medical-surgical and overflow oncology patients as assigned

Submission for consideration requires US Social Security Number and date of birth (no Canadian SSNs accepted)

Applicants must submit a complete profile including references, skills checklist, and copies of certifications as required

Requirements

Active AK RN license required

Minimum 1 year of recent experience in the relevant specialty

Oncology nursing certification (ONC) required for oncology assignments

American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification required, with valid dates extending beyond the first 30 days of the assignment

No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
