This position is responsible for maintaining best-in-class customer service while ensuring compliance to all applicable regulations and company standards. The Dispensary Supervisor will set the standard for performance and keeping associates motivated. The role requires excellent leadership qualities and gain and understanding of dispensary inventory and products.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESProvide best-in-class customer service to customersFollow and uphold established policies for sales and customer service to ensure customer satisfactionMaintain in-depth knowledge of all products and strains in the store as well as industry-wide product knowledge, and train and share that knowledge with other members of the teamAssist with monitoring and maintaining inventory levels, ensuring an assortment of product, and communicating inventory action items with the Assistant Manager and General ManagerAssist all Dispensary Associates in the consultation of all customers to ensure that the employee is informed of the right product choices by being knowledgeable of how different methods of cannabis consumption affect customers differentlyComplete and appropriately delegate tasks assigned during scheduled shift, including : Correct cash handlingAccurate use and maintenance of the Point of Sale (POS) systemAccurate and timely data entry in both the POS system and inventory tracking systemAssistance in verifying order deliveries for accuracyEnsure adherence with security measures and safety complianceMaintenance of an organized and clean storeManagement of visitor logEnd-of-day daily update emailsEnsure accuracy with the vaultWork with the Management team to ensure retail store operations run smoothly, properly and in compliance with the applicable rules and regulationsDaily activities, maintenance, and data collection for any reported issues and / or complaintsOpen and closing proceduresAssist with the onboarding and training of new staff in partnership with the management teamJOB REQUIREMENTSCannabis experience requiredMust be at least 21 years of ageStrong retail math skills requiredHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)2+ year in a supervisory or management role in a retail setting, specifically with POS business operationsExceptional customer service skillsKnowledge of basic computer skillsPositive attitude, team player and strong work ethicUnderstanding of applicable state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives, and standard operating proceduresMust be and remain compliant with any and all regulatory requirements for working in the cannabis industryMust have excellent organization and time management skillsMust be focused, pay close attention to detailMust be able to internalize training and follow instructionsMust be able to communicate clearly and effectivelyCompany OverviewAscend Wellness Holdings, Inc.
