As a Patrol Armed Officer at a bustling retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patrons and staff. Armed and driving responsibilities are integral to this post, requiring you to conduct routine patrols, be visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergencies that may arise within the retail environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols, both inside the business premises and around the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor for unusual activity and report situations that require further attention or intervention to management and / or law enforcement, as appropriate.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and / or other security-related matters encountered during patrols.
  • Assist employees, visitors, and shoppers at the location by providing information, directions, and general support as needed.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, including those specific to Allied Universal and the assigned location, while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Must possess a Level III armed certification for Texas.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
