We are looking for a Senior / Staff Antenna Design Engineer to join our hardware team in San Diego or San Francisco. This person will be working with a multidisciplinary team developing our future product development efforts.

What you will do :

• Design, simulate, and optimize antennas for low-power wearable devices, including multi-band solutions.
• Build prototypes quickly and effectively to evaluate design concepts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams to integrate antennas into highly constrained form factors.
• Perform electromagnetic simulations and validate designs with bench and OTA measurements.
• Conduct over-the-air performance testing and troubleshooting in collaboration with test engineering teams. Drive root cause analysis and design iteration for antenna performance issues in prototypes and production units.
• Work with suppliers, CM partners, and manufacturing teams to ensure antenna performance is maintained throughout production.
• Document design processes, results, and performance metrics for internal knowledge sharing and regulatory compliance.
• Stay up to date on emerging materials, methods, and technologies in miniature antenna design.
• Travel to support prototype builds in both Asia, Europe, and North America : ~15-20% of time yearly.
