The Senior Manager of Trade Compliance is an Empowered Official of the company responsible for the management of the company's trade compliance program. Reporting to the Director of Trade Compliance in Clarksburg, MD, you will implement an enterprise-wide trade compliance program and provide strategic direction and technical expertise to ensure compliance with the U.S export and import and regulations. You will monitor the Company's global trade compliance program under applicable U.S. and foreign laws and regulations, including aligning with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATFE), and foreign government sanctions and controls. You will collaborate cross functionally within the company and with other business stakeholders to serve as a subject matter expert for all trade compliance activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's operating policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities can include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; creating effective staff plans - assigning and directing work; performance appraisals, rewarding and management of employee discipline when required; and addressing complaints and resolving conflicts. Active mentoring and development of staff is a critical element of the supervisory responsibilities in order to create a high performing cohesive team.

The annualized pay range for this role is $161,873-$206,837.85 USD along with a target incentive compensation plan (ICP) of 10%. The pay range provided is a good faith estimate representative of the experience level for the role described above. TDSI considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
