Summary : This position is responsible for the daily set up and operation of their assigned machines.

Responsibilities :

• Measure work-piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.
• Observe machine operation to detect work-piece defects or machine malfunctions.
• Use hand and power tools as required.
• Inspect previous work, as well as your own, to ensure quality established standards.
• Remove burrs etc. for work piece.
• Perform basic housekeeping of machine and machine area.
• Meet a 95% or better production requirement.
• Follow ISO 2000 / ISO 13485 standards; Consistent use, promotion and adherence of ISO and its procedures throughout the organization and ensure continuous improvement to the ISO system.
• Create and set-up jobs per specifications (new fixtures).
• Perform first-piece inspections.
• Submit first-piece inspections to QC.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints.
• Perform minor maintenance on machines.
• Change program or offsets to obtain final dimensions.
• Continually improve processes for most effective production.
• In process documentation.
