Responsibilities Work in a blended Cardiac ICU and Intermediate Care Unit with 30 beds (18 CVICU, 12 CVIMCU) Care for patients aged 16 and older with primary cardiac diagnoses including heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, and cardiothoracic surgery Patient population includes those requiring IABP therapy, Impella, post PCI, pacemaker insertion, arrhythmia treatment, and other advanced cardiac interventions 12-hour night shifts, 19 : 00-07 : 30, with 36 or 48 hour per week options Floating required between CVICU, Intermediate Care Unit, and may float to sister hospital nearby Epic charting system experience required Responsibilities include providing advanced cardiovascular care, participating in multidisciplinary care teams, and assisting with specialized procedures such as IABP therapy and ventricular assist devices Robust training program provided, covering beginner to advanced cardiovascular intensive care skills Strict RTO policy with no changes permitted after submission; additional requests may result in cancellation First time travelers are accepted Return staff must have at least a 6 month break before returning as a traveler No mile radius requirement; local candidates are accepted at the same rate Strict COVID vaccination requirement for all staff Requirements Active OR RN license at time of application; no pending licenses accepted BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU, ICU, or PCU experience Telemetry skills required COVID vaccination required with no exemptions permitted CCRN certification preferred Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-618955.
