Job Description

Overall Purpose and Objective of Position :   This position loads and unloads products at a soybean crushing and biodiesel plant.  Primary functions are to load trucks and railcars with product or unload beans in receiving whichever is assigned.  Responsible for complying with all applicable Company grade incoming grain; determine whether grain is of acceptable quality and rejects those loads not meeting Company standards.  Also responsible for complying with all applicable Company and government regulations.

Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions :

• Loads final product on to trucks and railcars to ensure timely delivery of all handled products.
• Unloads grain trucks and railcars as needed to meet the plant’s daily production schedules.
• Inspects material handling equipment and performs routine adjustments and minor maintenance as needed.
• Reports any equipment issues to Shift Leaders in a timely fashion.
• Ensures compliance with Company safety rules and wears proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required in fulfillment of assigned responsibilities.
