Responsibilities include performing comprehensive eye exams, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other eye care professionals. Candidates must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathic Medicine degree, complete an ophthalmology residency, and have board certification in ophthalmology and / or glaucoma. Excellent communication skills and a valid medical license in California are required.
