Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment

Start Date : October 28, 2025

End Date : January 27, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : 12-hour evening shifts (10 : 45am–11 : 15pm and / or 2 : 45pm–3 : 15am)

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780–$1910

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license

At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association)

Valid NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team

Demonstrated emotional resilience and professionalism in high-pressure clinical settings

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Triage all patients entering the Emergency Department, prioritizing care based on clinical assessment and ENA standards

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans for neonate through geriatric populations

Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient outcomes in accordance with best practices for emergency nursing

Accurately document patient histories, chief complaints, and ongoing care in the electronic medical record

Manage complications and medical emergencies following hospital protocols and Emergency Nurses Association guidelines

Educate patients and families on treatments, discharge instructions, and health status

Maintain readiness and proper functioning of emergency care supplies and equipment

Facilitate effective communication and act as a liaison between patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare staff

Perform other related duties as assigned by nursing leadership
