Staff Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer focused on Grafana Databases, Tempo.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to deliver new features and improvements

Lead projects from concept to implementation, providing ongoing customer support

Design, build, operate, and maintain essential systems for reliability and performance

Required Qualifications

Solid experience with at least one programming language (Go preferred, but others like Python, C, C++, or Rust are acceptable)

Experience in delivering projects from requirement gathering to product shipping

Experience with developing software that runs in the Cloud or systems engineering

Ability to write clean, robust, and maintainable software

Familiarity with on-call responsibilities and operations / SRE tasks
