A company is looking for a Coder II.
Key Responsibilities
Compiles and maintains medical records to document patient conditions and treatments
Checks medical records for completeness and abstracts clinical data using standard classification systems
Performs physician-based coding, including some inpatient coding and E / M coding
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in professional side, physician-based coding
Experience with EPIC and 3M systems
Certifications : TPC, CCS HIMA, CCSP
Experience with E / M coding and minor procedures coding
Preferred background in cancer coding
