Your Responsibilities

  • Employ radiographic and CT imaging techniques to generate high-quality diagnostic visuals for physician interpretation
  • Engage collaboratively with radiologists and the broader healthcare team to ensure precise diagnoses
  • Ensure optimal imaging by accurately positioning patients and calibrating the necessary equipment
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols, prioritizing patient and team member protection
  • Keep meticulous records, including imaging logs and equipment upkeep
  • Deliver compassionate care to patients throughout the imaging experience
  • Contribute to fostering a safe, organized, and efficient imaging environment

Education Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is an advantage
  • Completion from an accredited radiology program is essential
  • Certification Requirements

  • ARRT certification in CT and / or Radiography
  • Current BLS certification or the ability to acquire it within the first 90 days of employment
  • Essential Skills

  • Strong proficiency in diagnostic imaging protocols and safety regulations
  • Exceptional communication abilities with patients and multi-disciplinary staff
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere, adapting to evolving needs
  • Detail-oriented attitude with a commendable sense of accountability
  • Comfort with technology, including PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
