Job Description

Hourly Pay Rate : $18.50 Mon-Sun, all shifts. This is a flex role, the officer will fill in on an as needed basis and must be able to work any day and any shift. Monitor and control access to the residential location, verifying identification and credentials of residents, visitors, and vendors according to site-specific procedures. Provide customer service by assisting residents and guests with inquiries and addressing security-related concerns in a professional manner. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for unusual activity or conditions. Document observations and incidents in detailed reports as required by site and Allied Universal policies. Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services as necessary, supporting emergency response activities when appropriate. Follow site-specific policies and procedures at all times, adapting to the unique needs of the residential environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitors entrances and exits
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensures that authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site post orders
