ICU RN Job Details Location : Bowling Green, Kentucky 42104 Unit : ICU / CCU (16 beds) Assignment Length : 13 weeks Start Date : January 12, 2026 End Date : April 13, 2026 Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM (12-hour day shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,470 - $1,570 Employment Type : Travel Nurse, On-Site Dress Code : Scrubs (any color; no denim, capris, or camo) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license (Kentucky or compact state) Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (PALS preferred) Strong clinical skills in critical care and self-motivation Experience with advanced ICU equipment : Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, Hemodynamic monitoring Familiarity with Meditech documentation system preferred ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 16-bed ICU / CCU Maintain patient ratios of 2 : 1 (occasionally 3 : 1) Assist with procedures including central line and dialysis catheter insertions Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including unit secretaries and techs Participate in float rotation with core staff as needed Promote positive patient experiences and uphold unit policies Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and commitment to teamwork Why Choose Bowling Green, KY?
