Responsibilities Work in an Emergency Department of a hospital setting Serves diverse patients from infants to geriatric population Level 2 trauma center environment Shift is 12 hours, evening (3 : 00 p.m. - 3 : 30 a.m.), with 36 hours per week Requires work every other weekend within a Sunday – Saturday work week Must be available to work two of the three major holidays if needed No on-call responsibilities EPIC EMR, must be able to test out of EPIC training Must be self-motivated and able to begin work with minimal orientation Must be flexible and adaptable to a dynamic emergency department workflow Orientation may occur on day shift for at least one shift to allow for access and onboarding Royal blue scrubs are required Unit is experiencing high patient volumes and staffing is needed for surge coverage Requirements Current and active IL RN license required Minimum 2 years of experience in a level 2 trauma center emergency department Certifications required : BLS (CPR), ACLS, PALS, TNCC or TNS CPI certification preferred Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred Experience with EPIC EMR system required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-630423.
