Sr Account Manager, Service Sales, Global Strategic Accounts

Job Summary : The Sr Account Manager, Service Sales, Global Strategic Accounts is responsible for the sales efforts for Deployment and Lifecycle Services associated with all of our Lines of Business (Power, Thermal, Energy Storage, and Modular Solutions). This role will partner with the GSA Account Directors, Offering, and Services to drive Service Sales growth within a specific set of Strategic Accounts. The Sr Account Manager, Services role will be responsible for managing all Services Sales activities including Deployment Services, Contract Services, Monitoring and Controls Services, Repair Services and Parts for a specific group of assigned accounts. This may include services outside of the Americas region as required. Heavy travel east of the Mississippi.

Responsibilities : Execute sales strategies that align with customer requirements and Vertiv's capabilities. Work with Sales Management to establish annual sales expectations and exceed those expectations. Timely and diligent efforts in Service Sales Pipeline so that company has visibility to requirements. Work with Offering and Marketing to develop customer facing material outlining our capabilities and benefits. Develop proposals and present to customers and close on opportunities.

Qualifications : 7+ years technical sales or Service Sales experience. BS / BA degree in Engineering, Business Management, Business Administration or equivalent. Sales Closer. Working knowledge of Data Center & Communication Industries preferred. Working knowledge of Vertiv products and services. Strong organizational skills, detailed oriented, and able to manage and prioritize leads. Excellent problem-solving abilities and capable of resolving contract and product issues. Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Travel : 40%
