Minimum and Additional Requirements
State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements :
A bachelors degree and relevant program experience.
SCDC Minimum Requirements :
( Or an approved equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
Must have (4) years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
A bachelors degree and (2) years experience in quantity and quality cooking.
OR
An associate degree and (4) years experience in quantity and quality cooking.
OR
A high school diploma and (6) years experience in quantity and quality cooking.
Must be certified in Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) or ServSafe manager attain within six (6) months of employment.
Must be certified by the SCDC training academy or must successfully complete SCDC basic training within twelve (12) months of hire.
Must successfully complete the basic supervisory course within eighteen (18) months of employment.
