The Opportunity
Ally’s in-house production team is looking for a creative videographer and photographer. This position will be responsible for capturing video and images for a variety of internal- and external-facing projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working with cross-functional teams, handling multiple projects at once, and delivering high-quality content in different formats. This position requires a high level of creativity and the ability to work under tight deadlines.Ally work location is Charlotte NC - Hybrid schedule 3 days in office and 2 from home. Occasional travel, nights and weekend work as needed
The Work Itself
- Edit long-form and short-form video content, including product overview videos, corporate messaging, event recap videos, messages filmed on green screen, testimonials, how-to demos, interviews and sizzle videos
- Work alongside our current team of videographers to film events, interviews, trainings and corporate messaging videos.
- Take photos for events such as sports games or parades and headshots of company employees.
- Pitch, propose, and provide rationale for creative direction
- Collaborate with the team on each stage of the video project from concept to script and storyboard development, to editing and animating, to presenting work in project touchpoints
- Work on multiple projects within a variety of timelines and complexities – from quick-turn videos to longer term projects with multiple rounds of client feedback
- Collaborate with brand, UX, product, business, marketing, and other channels to ensure content maintains visual parity across the Ally landscape
- Contribute to the maintenance and implementation of the team’s Style Guide standards
The Skills You Bring
1+ years of corporate in-house, creative agency, or video production agency experience requiredBachelor’s degree in Filmmaking, Editing, Graphic Design, Animation, or comparable experience requiredA genuine love of video & photo and passion for staying up on the latest storytelling and production trendsA self-starter who strives to make the next photo or video better than the previousExpert knowledge of the Adobe Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop)Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work independentlyComfortable working in a corporate environment and interacting with executive leaders.Strong foundational knowledge of layout, color, grids, icons, typography, proportion, photography and motion / rich mediaExperience with multiple formats and can identify current graphical and editorial trendsExperience with music selection, color correction and sound designOccasional travel and nights and weekend work as neededPortfolio demonstrating your skills of all three : Filming, Photography & EditingHow We'll Have Your Back
